Ally Villeneuve

As a dedicated research assistant with experience in diverse healthcare and mental health research settings, Ally supports the Nicholson Lab in understanding the neural correlates of minority stress in the Atlas Institute for Veterans and Families. In addition to her work at Atlas, Ally works as a clinical research assistant at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and in the McQuaid Lab at Carleton University. In her free time, Ally is a volunteer crisis responder with Kids Help Phone and is driven by seeing the immediate impact of her efforts in mental health support. With a Bachelor of Science Honours and Master of Science in Neuroscience from Carleton University, Ally is committed to making mental health support accessible, effective and empowering, and is pursuing a career in healthcare.
