
SueEllen MacGowan
SueEllen MacGowan is currently a MSc student in the Neuroscience program at the University of Ottawa. Her research focuses on exploring changes in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data pre and post electroencephalography (EEG) neurofeedback treatment in participants with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to her academic studies, SueEllen is a Registered Psychotherapist in clinical practice at the Ontario Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre. SueEllen completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, Master of Business Administration at Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at the Royal Military College of Canada. Prior to commencing her recent graduate studies, SueEllen served 23 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring as a Captain in the public affairs branch of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).
